VINCENNES - SATURDAY, JANUARY 18TH

Winterseason racecards at Vincennes simply never disappoint. Again an incredible monté race - to warm us up for the big one tomorrow.

Let's start of with the consistent Lisbonne Dry (post 3). Always shows up and barely finishes outside of the top 4. Should definitely be on the cards.

Lovissime (post 4) is yet another incredibly consistent performer. Constantly meets the best of the age group. Last performance she finished second behind generational talent Lionheart. Could battle for the win today.

Lucky Jackson (post 6) is still figuring it out a little bit, but the favourite nontheless. Super strong, super fast and (in my humble opinion) accompanied by the best monté driver out there: Alexandre Abrivard.

Lutin des Bordes (post 7) has been collecting placings behind huge favorites as Lexie de Banville and Lucky Jackson. In the same form as his last two races he's a contender for the top 3 placings.

Little Orelie (post 8) is the most recent winner of the Saint Leger des Trotteurs at Caen. After that she's been struggling a bit but should never be overlooked.

Mentions: La Joyeuse Wicz

Highly watched: The Quinte+ races. I personally adore these races as it's an opportunity for decent horses to win big races.

Isofou du Chene (post 2) is the logical favourite here. Has been performing consistently well for over a year now.

Ister Man (post 8) is in good form and has won against some contenders before. Expectations are there. On the cards for top 4

Harison du Plessis (post 12) will be driven by the Sulky d'Or winner Eric Raffin. Has been showing great form at Vincennes but has been struggling to take that win home. Gonna be tough against the favourites today.

We can never, ever leave out the Goop, can we?

International Trot podium finisher Ideal San Leandro (post 14) is gonna try his luck at Vincennes today. Has been showing strength and versitality the entire season. Recently finished second over 2925m from the death seat at Cagnes-Sur-Mer. With Björn Goop he should be up there today.

Mentions: Hockfeller du Mesle (recently won) and Haitian Fight Song (recently won, beating Harison du Plessis)

The big one for international horses.

Recent racewinners: It's a Dollarmacker and Hoikkado Jiel.

Racerecord: Cleangame - 1'11''2 over 2850m

The last international winner of this race is Your Highness in 2016. Today might be the day another Swedish horse takes it home.

Global Dubhe (post 1) is an excellent international performer. Has been doing well at Vincennes before and should contest for the win.

Iznogoud Am (post 5) is one tough cookie to drive but if he trots, if he behaves, he could be up there today. Has been racing against elite horses lately. Form is there.

Indy Rock (post 6) will be leaving as the favourite today. Doesn't need the perfect race and can finish fast. Finished second behind Jack Tonic in his last outing at Vincennes.

Inato Pierji (post 7) and Iguski Sautonne (post 9) could save the day for France. Both have been putting in consistent performances. For on the cards.
